The Melanium Awards will be one of the signature moments of Unity Gala night. The awards are designed to recognize primarily Black youth whose achievement, leadership, service, creativity and determination deserve to be seen and celebrated.
We want to shine a light on young achievers whose stories may otherwise go untold—students, creators, athletes, entrepreneurs, volunteers, leaders and young people overcoming challenges while inspiring others around them.
Families, educators, community organizations and members of the public are invited to help us identify the next generation of leaders.
