Unity Gala Event Terms & Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These terms apply to Unity Gala ticket purchases and attendance. The purchaser is responsible for making these terms available to the guests included in the order.

Tickets & Admission

Each admission ticket and QR code is unique. A ticket must be valid, fully paid where payment is required, and accepted by the Unity Gala check-in system. Cancelled, refunded, voided, lost, replaced, duplicated, altered or otherwise invalid tickets may be refused. The first successful use of a valid QR code controls admission, and identification may be requested where reasonably necessary.

Payments, Payment Plans, Refunds & Reissues

Payment-plan tickets remain reserved subject to the applicable final-payment deadline, but admission QR codes remain inactive until the required balance is paid and verified. Refunds, transfers, credits, cancellations and ticket reissues are handled according to the terms shown at purchase and any written decision issued by Unity Gala. A reissued ticket receives a new ticket number and QR code; the replaced ticket remains invalid.

Event Changes, Postponement or Cancellation

Programs, performers, speakers, schedules, menus, seating assignments, activities and other event details may change when reasonably necessary. If the Gala is postponed or cancelled, Unity Gala will communicate the options that apply to affected ticket holders. Except where required by law, Unity Gala is not responsible for separate travel, accommodation or other incidental expenses.

Photography, Video & Media

The Gala may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed or otherwise recorded for event documentation, news, archival and promotional purposes. By attending, guests acknowledge that incidental appearance in crowd or event imagery may occur. A guest with a specific privacy concern should speak with Gala staff when practical.

Guest Conduct & Venue Rules

Guests must follow applicable law, venue rules and reasonable instructions from event staff. Unsafe, threatening, abusive, disruptive or unlawful conduct may result in refused admission or removal from the event. A refund is not guaranteed when admission is refused or a guest is removed for conduct.

Safety, Accessibility, Food & Alcohol

Unity Gala will make reasonable efforts to support disclosed accessibility and dietary needs, but a dietary request cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests should notify the Gala team of important needs in advance. Where alcohol is served, valid government-issued identification may be required and service may be refused in accordance with Ontario law and venue policy.

Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. To the extent permitted by law, Unity Gala and its organizers are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property that is outside their reasonable control.

Force Majeure & Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Unity Gala may need to change, postpone or cancel part or all of the event because of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, government or public-authority requirements, venue interruption, emergency conditions, labour disruption, transportation interruption or similar events.

Liability & Legal Rights

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Unity Gala, Camp Wakanda Forever Inc., the venue, contractors, volunteers and service providers are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from attendance, event changes or circumstances outside their reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under Ontario or Canadian law.

Privacy

Personal information used for ticketing, payment administration, seating, guest services and event operations is handled in accordance with the Unity Gala Privacy Policy. Read the Privacy Policy.
